When This Madness Ends (Rick Shur, 2004)
They dance a two-step together. Johnny, realizing that he won't see Dave for a long time, starts to cry. Dave, fearing that Johnny is going to get himself killed if he stays in Saul's sphere of madness, starts crying, and ends up sobbing. But they keep dancing, and while doing so, they grow more intimate and kiss one another.

When This Madness Ends
by Rick Shur, 2004
Unfortunately, under the influence of inebriatives foisted on Dave by little Frankie, Dave spilled the beans about how he tricked Tige and Harry. Frankie told his father, and now, instead of being pacified by thinking he got his cattle back, Phil is madder than ever and declares all-out war on Saul and his ranch. Since Saul is now determined more than ever to kill Dave, Johnny convinces him to get out of the valley until his father calms down, and that he, Michelle, and Dave can be together again only when the madness ends.
